Ukraine is in a deadly war of attrition with Russia, and lacks the fire power to win it. But as the death toll rises, and as the damage to its infrastructure becomes more pronounced, powerful third parties keep egging it on. The experts say that Ukraine is not receiving military aid fast enough, or that it would prevail if they had possession of MIGS from Poland. The U.S. government has thrown millions in monetary assistance at Ukraine. Retired generals have come out of the woodwork. They appear on television and radio and handicap the war, as if it were a horse race. Many of them, seemingly oblivious to the protracted destruction of human life unfolding before them, appear to care only about displaying their military chops in front of the world. Missing in the discussion are suggestions about how to reach a peaceful resolution to the conflict. That is one reason why this shameless fratricidal war rages on.
